KFT is 6 Months Old!

Our little boy is six months old today!

KFT has grown in the following ways:
Weight at Birth  7 lbs. 6 oz.       Weight at 6 Months  19 lbs. 10 oz.
Height at Birth  19 in.                Height at 6 Months   26 in.

Our sweet little boy continues to eat through the night.  And if that's not tiresome enough, he is very inconsistent when it comes to what times and how often.  Some nights, he will eat every 3 to 5 hours. Then others, he will eat every hour and a half!  But, now that we are home from vacation and the new school year is about to start, our little snuggler will be receiving some tough love in the coming nights.
To his credit, though, Bubbie will lay down awake.  The minute he rolls over to his tummy, he will fall asleep.  (It doesn't hurt that he is now, finally, sleeping in his crib in his own room as opposed to the Pack n Play next to Mommy.  Don't judge!  He was just too sweet to let go!)

Brother is definitely a happy boy!  He only cries when he is hungry or tired.  He loves to be held on your hip or look over your shoulder.  He lights up the moment he sees his sister.  He plays as if he is bashful by smiling at people and then burying his face into your shoulder.  He is truly a delight!

Our big boy puts everything in his mouth.  He drools a lot, but we now know why.  He got his FIRST TOOTH just last week on the bottom!  He showed no sign of discomfort, so it was a big surprise when he stuck Mommy's finger in his mouth and chomped down!  Ouch!
In addition to a new tooth, Bubbie rolls over from front to back and from back to front.  He is beginning to show signs of pushing up on his knees and feet.  He can sit up for brief moments too.

Brother loves when Mommy is in the room and will often whimper when she leaves.  Luckily, though, Big Sister is usually close by to distract him.

Finally, our sweet boy loves the Johnny Jump Up.  He jumps and spins and squeals so loudly.  He loves laying on his sister's bed at bedtime to read stories, and he definitely gets to laughing when we hold on to his feet and shake his legs.  So much jiggle and giggle!
