We're Having a Baby! (False Alarm)

We're pregnant!

Unfortunately, we had counted our chickens before they had hatched.

We beat the odds. Yes, we are one of those couples who has actually received a "false positive." We went to the doctor's office incredibly giddy after a positive pregnancy test, but then were completely crushed to find out that we were not pregnant.  We are deeply disappointed, but remain hopeful that a viable pregnancy is in our future.  

Well, <sigh> back to the drawing board. 

(Leigh's Thoughts: You know it's kind of interesting.  You call the doctor to tell them you have a positive pregnancy test.  They tell you that pregnancy tests that are positive are definitely positive.  They'll be happy to see you in about 8-10 weeks.  You take all sorts of pictures of this really gross stick that you peed on.  (I mean really, when else would you flaunt something that like that?!?!) And then, all of a sudden, the doctor is telling you that you're not actually pregnant.  No lady!  The stick said I was.  You don't know what you're talking about.  You only did umpteen years of medical school.  This $13 test is right.  It's a digital one for goodness sake!)
