After the Bar Exam, Chad went back to work at the law office downtown. It turned out though, that the attorney's position that was going to be vacated and then given to Chad was not anymore. So, with a little time off, he took a few days to go to Ohio with the guys. It was my understanding that this trip was supposed to be a "workout" type of trip. They were going to run and such. It turns out, surprise surprise, that 200 sit-ups was the only "working out" that occurred. Unless of course you count bicep curls when lifting a glass to your mouth!!!
While Chad was gone, Grandma Honey Dearie and Pop took care of RLT for a day because I can't get her to daycare in the morning due to my early work schedule. Apparently, they had a great time because the following day, Chad and I were showered with her slobber as she showed off her new skill of giving raspberries!!! Thanks, Grandma Honey Dearie!!!
And unfortunately, a nasty bug hit our house. When the mommy was sick, the daddy stepped in like a champ! This is not to say that Chad isn't a hands-on kind of dad. I just mean that if he could have fed our little angel, he would have done that too! RLT and I are so lucky to have him in our lives!
