RLT is 8 Months Old!

Our little girl is eight months old today!

RLT is still sleeping until about 5:00am every night after going to bed at around 7:30pm.  During the day, she will easily skip naps if we are busy running errands or doing something that is engaging.  As long as she is fed, she is a happy baby!

Sweet Bugga is becoming more and more of a Mommy's Girl.  She will be playing and look up every few minutes to make sure that Mama is still in the room.  If not, she'll lean over and try to look around whatever is in her way to try and find her.  Mommy has to admit, that she dreamed of a baby reaching for her for so long that she loves these moments a whole lot!

Buddy now has five teeth!  Those chompers make her look like such a big girl.  She uses them to bite on her sleep sacks or wash cloths.  Yes, she still loves fabric!  She also likes to snag pieces of lemons with them.  Her sour faces are fantastic!  Other pureed foods she enjoys are pears, apples, and blueberries.

Our precious angel is definitely mobile.  Her preferred method is by rolling, and boy she is quick!  She has begun to pull with her arms and push with her legs while her tummy is flat on the floor.  We have a feeling that crawling is just around the corner!

RLT has begun to actually play this month.  Instead of just seeing a toy and picking it up, she deliberately looks for something and then manipulates for fun.  She especially loves playing with the wooden blocks that were Daddy's when he was a baby.  She'll pick them out of the box and hit them together.  She'll drop them behind her and get two more out.  It is really cute!  Baby Girl also loves bags with handles-especially a wine gift bag that she got a hold of this month.  She loves that thing!
